# Third-party notices

Naped Snowboarding's code is MIT-licensed (`LICENSE`). The rider models and the 600 glyph
are not: they are © Felix Hitthaler (FLX, BIMbeam), all rights reserved, licensed for use in
this game only (Characters and Brand below). The published artifact, `dist/index.html`, is
one file with the following inside it. Versions are those of
`package-lock.json`; each licence was read in `node_modules` or in the file itself, and
`assets/SOURCES.md` records source and SHA-256 of every embedded asset.

## Code

| what | version | licence | copyright | where the licence text is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| [three.js](https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js) (renderer, GLTFLoader) | 0.186.1 | MIT | © 2010-2026 three.js authors | `licenses/three.txt` in the publish tree (a copy of `node_modules/three/LICENSE`); the same text below |
| [meshoptimizer](https://github.com/zeux/meshoptimizer) decoder, as shipped with three.js (`examples/jsm/libs/meshopt_decoder.module.js`) | 1.1 | MIT | © 2016-2026 Arseny Kapoulkine | below (the file carries the notice in its header) |
| [Rapier](https://github.com/dimforge/rapier) (`@dimforge/rapier3d-compat`, physics, WASM inlined) | 0.21.0 | Apache-2.0 | © 2020 Dimforge EURL | `licenses/rapier.txt` in the publish tree (a copy of `node_modules/@dimforge/rapier3d-compat/LICENSE`), https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0 |
| [napplet SDK](https://github.com/sandwichfarm/napplet) (`@napplet/sdk` 0.28.0 with `@napplet/core` and `@napplet/nap` 0.32.0) | see left | MIT | the napplet authors (the packages carry `"license": "MIT"` and no licence file) | below |
| Gamepad helper of napplet.soy (`packages/input/src/gamepad.ts`), copied to `src/input/gamepad.ts` | copied 2026 | MIT | © 2026 napplet.space contributors | below |

Rapier is used unmodified. No NOTICE file comes with the package.

`node_modules` is in neither the publish tree nor its source archive, so
`npm run release -- <dir>` copies the two licence files into the tree's `licenses/`
(`GAME.licences` in `scripts/release.mjs`).

Build tools (`vite`, `typescript`, `@napplet/vite-plugin` 0.14.1 MIT, `@gltf-transform/cli`)
are not part of the artifact.

The carving model follows the idea of Soul Ride's sidecut model (Thatcher Ulrich, GPL).
No code of Soul Ride is in this repository.

### The MIT License

three.js, the meshoptimizer decoder, the napplet SDK and the gamepad helper, each with the

## Font

**Anton** 2.116, cut down to Latin (`assets/fonts/anton-latin.woff`). Copyright 2020 The
Anton Project Authors (https://github.com/googlefonts/AntonFont.git). SIL Open Font
License 1.1, https://scripts.sil.org/OFL. The copyright and licence records are kept in
the font file's name table, which is embedded with it.

## Terrain and sky

All three levels are cut from the same data (`levels/<name>/source.json` records each
request):

- Terrain: **Digitales Geländemodell Südtirol (DGM 2,5 m)**, © Autonome Provinz Bozen –
Südtirol, Amt für Landesplanung und Kartografie. CC0 1.0. Fetched from the province's
  WCS (`geoservices9.civis.bz.it`, coverage `p_bz-Elevation__DigitalTerrainModel-2.5m`).
- Sky: **Poly Haven**, `aristea_wreck_puresky`. CC0.

CC0 asks for no attribution. The game names both all the same: every level file carries
its credits (`Level.credits`), and the start card shows them under the controls.

## Characters

Nine rigged riders are embedded (`assets/*.glb`), all derived, none edited at the source:

- `builder`, `dni`, `flx`, `leon`, `tonichina`: rigs from
`PalaceOfCulture/apps/web/public/avatar/imported/`, optimised for the game (`dni` and
  `flx` re-skinned first).
- `essex`, `madmunky`, `nc` (600 Billion, https://join.600.wtf) and `gigi` (Street of SEC,
https://sec1.citadel-resources.com): the crews' canonical models on Blossom
(`blossom.bimcvp.com`), rigged by the avatar pipeline (`labsBIMbeam/joinAvatarPipeline`),
  then optimised for the game.

They are characters of the 600 Billion and Street of SEC crews. The rights to all nine
models, and of the test fixture `tests/fixtures/rigged-builder.glb` made from the builder
rig, belong to Felix Hitthaler (FLX, BIMbeam). All rights reserved: they are licensed for
use in Naped Snowboarding only, and the MIT licence of this repository's code does not
extend to them. Copying them out of the game or this repository needs his permission.

## Brand

The 600 glyph (`assets/brand/600.png`, from `600000000000/img/600.png`) is © Felix
Hitthaler (FLX, BIMbeam), all rights reserved, licensed for use in Naped Snowboarding only.
The four-line number belongs to 600B's design system and the NAPPELIN.COM lettering names
the maintainer's own site: marks, which the MIT licence does not cover either.
